Laamu
Maldives
Project:
Feasibility Report
Client Brief:
The client’s vision for Laamu is to create the Maldives’ first multi-island luxury resort. A transformative destination that redefines seclusion, experience, and tourism investment spread across fifteen uninhabited islands. The project blends natural beauty, cultural heritage, and world-class hospitality into a staged, masterplanned development. It will deliver beachfront and overwater villas, restaurants, spas, and marine leisure offerings through modular infrastructure and discreet high-end service. With strong economic goals, including high EBITDA, longer guest stays, and investor appeal, Laamu also aims to leave a lasting social legacy through job creation and sustainable development.
Response:
Stratum was engaged to develop the strategic framework and presentation toolkit, including a compelling investment narrative, brand identity, and visual storytelling to support capital raising and early engagement. This involved creating a fully designed investor booklet, backed by market research, data visualisation, and clear messaging around the fifteen-island staged resort concept. We also supported financial modelling and commercial analysis in line with EY projections, and shaped the narrative around modular delivery, cultural integration, and brand architecture, positioning Laamu not just as a luxury resort, but a world-first in Maldivian tourism.
